Staffing

All staff will offer a warm, welcoming, homely environment for the children, and ensure that the transition from home to nursery goes as smoothly as possible.

Staff at Busy Bees are qualified with an NNEB certificate, NVQ Level 2 or 3, or working towards a qualification. All staff have First Aid and Child Protection Training.

All trainees work under close supervision at all times. All staff are police checked, and mentally and physically capable of caring for children.

Staff work on a key worker system where every child is allocated a member of staff to be their key worker. This ensures that each child builds up a trusting relationship with their key workers.

Ratios:

• 1 adult to 3 children under 2 years
• 1 adult to 4 children aged 2 to 3 years

There are always at least three members of staff on duty.
